The Art of "Select Your Character"

With ninety individual images and counting, "Select Your Character" is Mr. Storms' most ambitious work to date. This piece was created for Goucher College's ART 330: Advanced Art Workshop class as a final project. The project was influenced by Mr. Storms' interest in the vast and varied casts from fighting video games (Super Smash Bros., Street Fighter, etc.). "Select Your Character" features, in its current state, ninety unique character portraits based on everything from real people to animals, RPG characters to inanimate objects, and things that are just plain fun to draw. Even with the current amount of images, the project is far from over. Mr. Storms is hoping to complete another ninety characters. As long as there are fresh ideas, the "Select Your Character" project will continue.
